Primary school teacher lesson plans?

There is usually a curriculum or textbook that is being used and you simply divide the lessons and put down what you will do each day. When I taught in a private school that had no curriculum or required textbook, I used the elements that were on the progress report and report card to determine what to teach.

Hi,It is good answer. I was delighted to read your writing. Very hard work but rewarding. Good you are patient with children but also you must enjoy teaching people how to do things or about things. It takes many hours of planning lessons and doing paperwork so your working day during term time is not just from 9-4. The holidays are a great bonus though! The wages are good and can be very good if you get to being a deputy or Head. After your degree you can choose if you still think you want to teach but the degree is the first hurdle to get over. Good luck!
