« on: June 19, 2015, 10:17:21 AM »
Dear Everybody,

Darbuka’s other names is Tablah. There are some people called Darbuka is Tablah. Tablah is known to some other people. One of my friends called it Tablah.

However there is no difference between Darbuka and Tablah. You may be called it one of this.

Which name is suitable for this instrument Darbuka or Tablah?
In which name do you want to call?
 :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

People in different areas of the Middle East call it by different names. My dad is Lebanese, and we call it a durbakke; this is what I always call it. Some people call it a darbuka, some people call it a doumbek, some people call it a tubleh. Calling it a tablah can be a bit confusing to some people, since the drum from India/Pakistan shares the same name. You can call it whatever you like :)
