How to replace the darbuka skin
« on: January 02, 2015, 02:08:06 AM »
In this video we have replaced the skin and installed remo skin. We have used an hair drier in order to make the installation easier since this skin can be torn in the process.

Wow! Thank you so much dear, I was looking for this for so many days, I tried searching on various sites but no one explained it correctly. Now finally I am able to find exactly what I wanted, so now there wonít be any problem changing skin all due to this!

Itís fabulous to learn to replace Darbuka skin, but my question that should we do it with Remo Skin? I have heard a lot about pearl one, but I am not sure if itís better or Remo skin, so please can you explain the details about this?

I donít think we should try to replace it our self, i am not saying that itís not possible, but I would say we can make tiny mistakes which can affect the sound so much, itís much better to take expert guide with replacing the skin instead of all by self.
