How to choose the right oud for you?
« on: March 19, 2015, 03:58:16 AM »
This time, I'm literally asking: are there any specific tips someone can share in regards to how to choose an oud? What I personally did was... uhm.. I just went online and bought a used one from a guy who wasn't using it anymore :D I didn't think about it too much, I just got it.
Now I'm wondering if I made the right choice..

Doing my best, so that I can't blame myself for anything.

I don't think there's a "recipe" for it.. I think you should just, I don't know.. listen to how it sounds, feel it in your hands and that's about it, right? And even this is difficult to do since most people I know buy these instruments online.
