Egyptian oud vs. Arabic oud?

I know these two types of oud are different, but how much different, in terms of notes and sounds? Can someone please explain? Thank you!

Hey Danny :) You must be a bit confused..

Administrator is right.
Geographically speaking, Egypt and Syria and Turkey and so on are relatively close to each other, but that's not the point.

The ouds are basically divided into 2 categories: Arabic and Turkish.
Now, the Arabic ouds are divided into smaller categories, such as the Iraqi, Egyptian and Syrian oud because they have similar characteristics.
