Listing them on eBay/craigslist would be a nice place to start. Alternatively you can use other means such as a facebook page but it all depends on what type of audience you are aiming at.

Each instrument is a fresh start, so definitely start with the one you feel most compelled to learn!

Your best bet would either be a Sukar Oud or a factory-made Turkish Oud which are generally cheaper thus more suitable for beginners.

Thank you for the warm welcome. My interest in arab instruments began when a friend of mine brought an Oud into a party at a friends house and I immediately fell in love with it's sound.
