Keep listening to middle eastern music, and good Oud players like Simon Shaheen, and Said Chraibi. Get it in your heart and soul.

Check out this video. These two Oud players play so exquisitely together. If you ever need some inspiration to practice more, come and watch this video. This is what every Oud player should strive to sound like.

Also, in this video you can really hear the difference between a fixed bridge Oud and a floating bridge Oud. Floating bridge Oud (Iraqi style Oud) is being played by the woman.
